Highly effective acid descaler and passivator for cleaning and rust removal of sheet metal before metal-surface protection processes (painting, phosphating, electrolysis, chrome plating).
Removes rust in 10–20 minutes, leaving the surface passivated for up to 4 days. Does not attack aluminium, zinc, iron, cast iron or steels.
At low dosages (2–5 %) it works as an acid cleaner-degreaser suitable for the food, beverage, dairy, bakery and pharmaceutical industries (NSF A3).
Use: 10–20 % cold by immersion for 15 min, or 5 % hot (max. 40 °C) for 10 min. Rinse with water after descaling. Handle with gloves and good ventilation.
